Bodies
For over a decade, the Willy Works has been dedicated to creating the finest reproduction Willys possible. The countless hours spent refining the process, combined with a strict attention to detail have resulted in the ultimate bodies you see here.
All of the Willy Works bodies are made to original specifications. OEM and repro parts will bolt on to any style we build. We take great pride in the fact that from wheelbase to roof, the classic look of the Willys has been preseved.
Willy Works bodies come complete with doors, floor, tubs, dash and header panels installed. Fenders and hoods have a rolled edge that adds strength while keeping the original appearance. We've also installed an integral trunk drip rail. The mounting points have been reinforced and all our parts are jig assembled to insure a proper fit.
Our bodies are renown for their strength and durability. This is based in part on our workmanship, but also because we use only the finest materials including tri axel roving and baltec mat. Willy Works bodies and parts are finished in a glossy black gel coat, but can be ordered in the color of your choice.

Chassis
Willy Works chassis are designed and built by us on the premises. We use 2 x 4 x 1/8 Inch Mandrel bent tubing on all of our chassis. We will build a chassis to your specs. Virtually any style frame is available at the Willy Works from a nostalgic tube axle version to a hi-tech IFS setup.
Unless otherwise ordered, all of our frames will accept up to an 18.5 rear tire and Mustang II front end steering components.
We have a select group of employees at the Willy Works. Over the past two decade our experience has taught us one thing; it's much easier for some services to be done while the car's going together than when it's assembled. For instance, why not run the brake lines when your assembling the frame, before the body's on?
While we don't want to take the thrill of building your own Willys away from you, allowing us to do some of the work will save time, money and a ton of aggravation. Parts
All of our parts are designed and built to original specifications and can be used as direct bolt on replacements. Like our bodies, all of the Willy Works parts are hand laminated and use only the finest resin products.
Doors are made totally identical to originals inside and out. Each door is ground and jig assembled. 1937-1940 round cut mounting pads are used for the door handles on the outer skins. Doors can be hung conventionally or with hidden hinges.
Front ends are available in their original style or (in most models) with a tilt nose. All are reinforced to accept latches, hinges, and tie downs.
Fenders are built to stock dimensions. They come out with a rolled edge and reinforced mounting area for rod support tabs.
Deck lids are assembled with an OEM style inner brace already installed.
Floors will accept any engine and trans combination without cutting. They come in one piece with tubs available.
Rear Fenders are available in stock dimensions and radiused versions for racing or pro street.
Center Sections and hoods are totally original looking right down to the louvers and rolled edges. They will also bolt up to steel bodied cars.
